Privacy notice
Effective 10 October 2026
This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
Who we are
Emerge Growth Advisors is a team of financial advisors led by Au De Guzman, Agency Manager, at JP Rizal Extension, Quezon City 1103. We decide how the information described here is used. For privacy questions, contact Au De Guzman at emergegrowth@gmail.com or 0918 962 2461.
What we collect
- When you book a consultation: your name, your email address, anything you write in the booking notes, and the date, time and time zone you pick.
- When you message us on Messenger, call or email us: your name or profile name, your contact details and what you tell us.
- When you visit the site: our hosting provider records basic technical data (such as your IP address and browser) to deliver the site and keep it secure. We don't use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies of our own. The booking calendar from Cal.com may set cookies it needs to work.
We don't ask for sensitive personal information (such as health details or government ID numbers) on this website. Please don't include it in the booking notes. If you later apply for a plan, the insurer or HMO collects what it needs through its own forms and privacy notice.
Why we use it
To schedule, confirm, reschedule and hold your consultation; to reply to your questions; and to follow up about the plans you asked about. We don't sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Our basis
Your consent when you book or contact us, and the steps you ask us to take before you decide on a plan (Section 12 of the Data Privacy Act). You can withdraw your consent at any time; this doesn't affect what we did before.
Who we share it with
Only with services that help us do the above:
- Cal.com, which runs our booking calendar and sends booking emails.
- The video meeting service set on the booking, for online consultations.
- Google, which provides our email.
- Meta, if you message us on Messenger.
- Vercel, which hosts this website.
Some of these services store data outside the Philippines. We share your details with an insurer or HMO only if you decide to apply for one of their plans, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
For as long as we need it to hold your consultation and follow up, and no longer than one year after our last contact with you, unless you become a client or the law requires us to keep it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
How we protect it
Only Au De Guzman and the advisors who handle your consultation can see your details, and we keep them in the accounts of the services listed above, not in this website.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access your information, to object, to have it corrected, to have it erased or blocked, to data portability, and to claim damages. Email emergegrowth@gmail.com to use any of these rights; we aim to reply within 15 working days. You can also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
Children
This website and our consultations are meant for adults (18 and over).
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we'll update it on this page with a new effective date.
